Terms - RoboGeex AI Challenge 2025
1. RoboGeex 2025 Participation Agreement
By submitting a project to the RoboGeex AI Challenge 2025 ("AI for Well-being"), participants affirm that:
- All work submitted is the original creation of the team members listed in the submission form.
- Any third-party content or tools (including code libraries, datasets, or images) have been appropriately credited.
- The participants agree to fully comply with all Competition rules, submission deadlines, judging procedures, and decisions made by the organizing committee.
- RoboGeex reserves the right to disqualify any submission that is found to violate the rules, contains inappropriate or offensive material, or is determined to be plagiarized.
2. Code of Conduct
The RoboGeex AI Challenge is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants, mentors, judges, and volunteers. By joining the Competition, participants agree to the following standards:
- Engage in respectful communication and collaboration, regardless of race, gender, religion, nationality, or ability.
- Refrain from all forms of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct.
- Maintain academic integrity and honesty in the development and submission of all work.
- Report any concerns about inappropriate conduct to the organizing team via the official contact channels.
Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary action, including disqualification from the Competition.
3. Media & Publication Consent
By participating in the Competition, team members grant RoboGeex and its affiliated partners permission to:
- Publicly share submitted projects, including code snippets, images, videos, and written documentation, for non-commercial, educational, and promotional purposes.
- Reference team names, project titles, and affiliated institutions in competition-related publications, digital platforms, and event recaps.
Participants may request exclusion from public media exposure by submitting a written request to the organizing team. RoboGeex will not disclose personal data without explicit consent.
4. Data Privacy & Submission Policy
The Competition collects limited personal data during the registration and submission process, including team names, member names, contact emails, and school affiliations. This data is used exclusively for:
- Communication regarding Competition logistics.
- Assignment of judging panels and delivery of results or certificates.
- Public recognition of awardees and finalists.
All data is stored securely and will be retained for a period not exceeding 12 months post-Competition. RoboGeex does not share, sell, or distribute participant data to third parties.
5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
All participants retain full intellectual property rights over their submitted projects. By submitting their work, participants grant RoboGeex a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Showcase project content in online galleries, virtual exhibitions, closing ceremonies, and marketing materials related to the Competition.
- Archive project materials for educational reference and historical documentation.
RoboGeex will always credit the original creators and will not use submitted content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the team or project owners.
