Strategic Vision for Education and Innovation

Mr. Ammar Ammar, in his speech, stressed that supporting such initiatives is not merely symbolic—it is part of a real strategic vision. He emphasized that building minds and refining skills is the greatest service a society can offer itself, stating that investing in people is the only investment that never loses value. He added that every idea presented during the challenge is a building block for the future and thanked teachers and everyone who contributed to the event’s success.
Empowering Students Since 2020
In his speech, Hamza Ammar, Program Director at RoboGeex Academy, highlighted that since its establishment in 2020 under the motto “Innovation in Your Hands,” the academy has continually worked to empower students and broaden their academic and practical horizons. It has represented Lebanon in major international events, bringing back awards and accomplishments thanks to its students and team.
Hamza highlighted the Make:able Challenge, now in its second year, in which students designed assistive devices for real individuals in their community. This was done in official partnership with the UK’s PrintLab and Autodesk from the US, with RoboGeex Academy being the exclusive partner and representative of the challenge in the Middle East.
The Academy participated with nine teams in collaboration with partner institutions, with notable results:
- VIVID — Best Showcase of Empathy (14–18)
- TALKABOO — Best Creative Idea (14–18)
- H&T Innovation — Best Showcase of Customisation (14–18)
- Creovate — Best Showcase of Customisation (18+)
- Hope Builder — Best Showcase of Iterative Design (18+)
Hamza concluded by launching the initiative inable:tech, which aims to transform students’ project ideas into sustainable, impactful solutions that serve people with disabilities. Innovation, he said, must become a continuous mission that goes beyond awards and competitions.
He also extended an open invitation to NGOs, companies, educational institutions, and all socially-driven organizations to join this initiative and support it in order to achieve lasting and meaningful human and societal impact.
inable:tech – Innovation for Humanity
The inable:tech initiative reflects RoboGeex’s commitment to using innovation as a sustainable tool to address daily human challenges. The academy aims to help students develop their projects into practical technologies that improve the lives of those most in need.
Through this initiative, RoboGeex proves that its mission goes beyond theoretical education to real-world application and tangible impact.
