Another global win added to the achievements of RoboGeex Academy!

We are proud to announce that RoboGeex Academy has won the Make:able Challenge 2024 organized by Autodesk and PrintLab, with exceptional entries that embody the spirit of creativity and compassion in designing assistive technologies for people with disabilities and the elderly. Over 500 teams from around the world participated in the competition. 90 teams qualified for the finals, and all RoboGeex Academy teams were among the qualifiers. RoboGeex Academy had 3 winning teams in first place for 3 different global awards out of 18 awards.

TechnoGeex MC2 team, supervised by trainer Jihan Mohammed, won the "Best Empathy Show" award for the age group 14-18.

The team, consisting of Imad Al-Haw, Ghaith Al-Haw, Mosaab Al-Qadri, Jad Darwish and Haneen Al-Tawil, developed a custom assembly kit for individuals with cerebral hypoxia. This set includes magnetically connected, colorful 3D printed pieces that help improve fine motor skills and adapt to the user's abilities in an educational and entertaining way.

TechnoGeex MC1, supervised by Mr. Salim Zanboua, won the "Best Creative Idea" award for the age group 14 to 18 years. The team, consisting of Ahmed Zanboua, Nabil Janah, Osama Al-Tinawi and Maysoun Zanboua, developed a pill dispenser for the elderly that helps them take their medication at the specified times, with an alarm reminder.

We also congratulate our partners from the ATIC team, led by Ms. Ayat Al-Hajj, for winning the "Best Creative Idea" award for the under-14 children category. The team developed the "Hope Necklace", an innovation that helps deaf mothers communicate with their children under the age of three. The necklace produces audio phrases that mimic the mother's tone of voice and detects loud sounds, including a baby's crying.

These achievements are a testament to RoboGeex Academy’s commitment to enhancing the scientific and technical skills of young people and encouraging them to use technology to serve the community. We congratulate all participating students and teachers on this inspiring success and look forward to more creativity in the future! We thank EdTech Syndicate in Lebanon - the official educational partner of AutoDesk, for their support in participating in this tournament.
